ASMSA to host AAA Spring 2026 Esports Championships

The Arkansas Activities Association Spring 2026 Esports Championships will be held at The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts on Thursday, April 30.

Twelve teams from high schools across the state will play for titles in three games: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Rocket League and Madden NFL 26. Schools set to compete include:

  • Mario Kart Deluxe: Valley View High School, Bentonville High School, Buffalo Island Central High School and Fort Smith Northside;
  • Rocket League: Cabot High School, El Dorado High School, Bryant High School and Dardanelle High School;
  • Madden NFL 26: Pea Ridge High School, Lake Hamilton High School, Newport High School and Trumann High School.

The tournament will be held in the Creativity and Innovation Complex at ASMSA at 200 Whittington Ave. Semifinals for the playoffs will begin at 10 a.m. The tournament is open to the public, and there is an $8 admission fee. Tickets may be purchased on on-site on the day of the tournament, but all they must be purchased electronically. No cash or checks will be accepted.
