The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will hold its first Arts and Humanities Research Capstone Symposium on May 3. It will include a morning address by Don Baker, the economic and commercial officer for the U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Several students from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts earned recognition at the recent Arkansas Young Artist Association Spring Competition and Convention.

Carl Frank, a computer science instructor at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts, has been named a finalist for the 2019 Arkansas Computer Science Educator of the Year award.

More than 50 Arkansas students will showcase mobile apps they created in their computer science classes at the Arkansas Apps for Good Festival at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub on April 18.  This is the fourth year the Apps for Good festival has been held in Arkansas.
